In 1928 the Smarr Insurance Agency was established in Winnsboro as an independent insurance agency. Over the ensuing years, the agency has remained in the same family and grown by sales and purchases of other agencies. The name was changed to Insurance of Fairfield in 1979 to encompass the changes. The location at 120 South Congress Street in Winnsboro, is convenient to the government offices in the courthouse, banks and attorney’s offices. Experienced personnel are available to plan a program to fit any needs including home, autos, boats, motorcycles and life as well as all commercial property, liability, bonds, equipment, workers compensation and loss of income.
